About Us

At WWPSC, our mission is clear: to prioritize the health, well-being, and parenting skills of Somali women. Through our tailored programs, we strive to create a judgement-free space where women can address their unique cultural and spiritual needs, building healthier relationships with their children and the world around them.

Our Primary Objectives include:

Culturally Specific Programs:

We offer educational and treatment services that are sensitive to the cultural experiences of Somali women, addressing important health issues such as miscarriages, infertility, infant and child loss, postpartum depression, and more.

Emotional Well-being & Trauma Support:

We recognize the hidden emotional pain caused by these and other health issues, including domestic violence and chemical use, which can develop into trauma for both women and their children. Through evidence-based therapy and support, we aim to help women heal and provide a safe environment for their children’s development.

Advocacy & Awareness:

WWPSC is committed to advocating for mental health nutrition and fertility support, ensuring women have access to the resources and knowledge they need.
