Honoring the Heart of the Home: A Tribute to Mothers
At the core of every strong community is a mother’s love, wisdom, and guidance. The Infant & I program is rooted in the belief that when we support mothers, we support generations to come.
The poem below reflects our deep respect for the vital role women play in building healthy homes and nurturing both the hearts and minds of our children.
It is both a celebration and a reminder: when we care for mothers, we care for the future.
Dunnidaba haddaan hooyo jirin diric ma joogeene
Dayrka qoyska weeyiyo bu’diyo dirka oogada’e
Dardaaranka iyo tilmaantooda baa daw inoo fura’e
Duda waanadoodaa na haga door kastay tahaye
Darajada shacbigu waa haween doorkay geliyaane
Dumarkaa bile’e koonku wuu demi la’aantoode
Denbi kuma hadlaayee yagaa mudan daryeel weyne
Badqabka iyo daryeelkoodu waa lagama doodaane
Deggenaanta maankooda waa in lagu dadaalaaye
