Let’s Heal, Hooyo is a twice-weekly support group rooted in Somali culture and collective healing. This space is for Somali women—mothers, daughters, and sisters—seeking emotional support, connection, and restoration at any stage of life. Recent topics have included body image and shame, identity shifts after childbirth, hormonal changes, grief, and emotional vulnerability. Sessions feature open dialogue, guided reflection, and cultural practices such as Somali poetry, lullabies, and proverbs.

Supporting Somali women’s mental health and parenting through culturally responsive care and community-led programmes.

healing group for Somali women and mothers who have spent years in survival mode and are ready to pause, breathe, and reconnect with themselves beyond struggle and fear. This group focuses on stillness, emotional awareness, and releasing negative thought patterns shaped by stress, migration, and responsibility.

Together, we explore identity before and after motherhood, fear of failure, emotional regulation, and healing beyond constant strength.

Sessions include guided reflection, open conversation, coping tools, Somali poetry and proverbs, and trauma informed, culturally grounded support in a safe sisterhood space.
